Several people were instrumental in their support of "The Fair InfoNet" when it was a BBS. They freely offered their time and energy to connect to the service, leave messages, download files, offer constructive criticism, and just plain try their best to break it, with notable success!
A special thanks goes to:
Rich Persons, then of the Solano County Fair (CA), now the CEO of the Lake County Fair (CA), for countless calls to the BBS and dozens of e-mail messages telling me what wasn't working exactly right and for dozens of ideas, most of which were actually implemented!
Steve Chambers, Western Fairs Association, for encouragement, ideas, and motivation, when all-of-the-above were most needed.
Lewis Ridgeway, Riccoco and Ridgeway (CA), for enthusiasm and for acting as a great "front man."
Ray Rieger, California Fair Services Authority, for a gung-ho attitude and for being the first Forum Host!
Pat Skelton, Alameda County Fair (CA), for psychic support and numerous calls to the BBS on an extremely slow modem!
Susan Travers, Western Fairs Association, for support and encouragement, especially when the computers broke!
Connie Lopez and Laura Trout, Western Fairs Association, for ideas, support, and the ever-important content!
Many other people called the BBS and contributed their ideas and suggestions. To them I also say "thanks." They include:
Bill Blair, Del Mar Fair (CA)
Rick Cain, California Authority of Racing Fairs (CA)
John Campbell, Dixon (CA)
Bob Carlson, Puyallup Fair (WA)
Matt Etzler, Division of Fairs and Expositions (CA)
